Growing teams, 3 to 20 cleaners
The software for when the owner stops cleaning every house
Somewhere between three cleaners and twenty, the business stops fitting in your head. Schedules get complicated, payroll takes a day, and every resignation is an emergency. maid.co gives you the office systems a growing company needs, without stitching five tools together.

Dispatch that scales
Crews, drag-and-drop scheduling, routes and a real-time dispatch board.
Payroll prep in an hour
Approved timesheets with overtime and reimbursements, exported to your provider.
Hiring as a system
Job postings, applicant pipeline and onboarding training in one place.
Scheduling for crews, not just people
Once you have teams of two or three, you schedule crews. Assign a recurring client to a crew and the visit follows whoever is on that crew that day. The unscheduled panel shows approved work waiting for a slot, 'find a time' suggests who can fit it, and route optimization orders each crew's day by real drive times.
When a cleaner calls in sick, the dispatch board shows everyone's day in real time. Drag their visits to other crews, and bulk reschedule notifies any client whose time changed. Day sheets give each crew a clean printout if they want one.
- Crews and teams with drag-and-drop scheduling
- Real-time dispatch board and day sheets
- Route optimization per crew for a day or a week
- Bulk reschedule with client notifications
Hours, overtime and payroll prep
Cleaners clock in and out in the field app and run timers on each visit. Drive, shop and office time are tracked as their own categories, and breaks are recorded. Managers review and approve timesheets, with a full edit history.
Payroll prep turns approved hours into pay-ready numbers: overtime including California daily, weekly and seventh-day rules, meal and rest premiums, tips and reimbursements. Export or sync to your payroll provider, which runs pay and files taxes.
- Clock in and out with location check-in prompts
- Drive, shop and office time categories
- Overtime rules including California
- Export or sync to your payroll provider
Hiring and training for constant turnover
Cleaner turnover is the ceiling on most maid companies' growth. The hiring module posts jobs, runs your applicant pipeline and tracks candidates from application to offer. Onboarding documents go out through Sign for e-signature.
Courses let you write training with AI help: your cleaning standards, chemical safety, what to do when a client isn't home. Assign it to new hires and see who completed it before their first solo visit.

Permissions and numbers you can trust
Your first office manager shouldn't see everything, and your cleaners shouldn't see pricing. Permission presets cover field crew, senior crew, crew lead, dispatcher, manager and admin, with named capabilities like 'see costs', 'edit pricing' and 'approve timesheets'.
Reports show team productivity, job profitability and recurring revenue. The CFO module can model a question like 'what if we add a second crew in the north side?' before you hire for it.

A day with maid.co
A sick call at 6:45 am
Say you run four crews. At 6:45 on a Tuesday, a crew lead texts that she's sick. Your office manager opens the dispatch board, drags two of her visits to crews with lighter days, and uses 'find a time' to move the third to Thursday. The Thursday client gets an automatic text with the new window.
On Friday, the office manager approves the week's timesheets, and payroll prep flags one cleaner who crossed daily overtime covering those extra visits. The file goes to your payroll provider. Meanwhile, the hiring pipeline has two applicants ready for interviews, and one already finished the onboarding course.
FAQ
Questions, answered
Does maid.co run payroll?
No. maid.co prepares payroll: approved hours, overtime including California daily, weekly and seventh-day rules, meal and rest premiums, tips and reimbursements. It then exports or syncs to your payroll provider, which runs pay and files payroll taxes. That keeps your provider while removing the spreadsheet step.
Can cleaners see client prices?
Only if you allow it. Permission presets like field crew and crew lead hide costs and pricing by default, and named capabilities such as 'see costs' and 'edit pricing' can be granted to specific people. The change log records who edited what.
How does it help with cleaner turnover?
The hiring module runs job postings and an applicant pipeline so candidates don't get lost in email. Onboarding documents can be e-signed, and training courses on your standards and safety can be assigned and tracked. When someone leaves, their recurring visits can be reassigned to another crew in bulk.
Can I track drive time separately from cleaning time?
Yes. Time tracking has drive, shop and office categories alongside per-visit timers, plus breaks. That shows how much of a paid day is spent in the car, and feeds both payroll prep and job costing so you see true labor cost per visit.
Is there a limit on how many cleaners I can add?
No hard cap. Plans include a set number of users, and you can add more as you hire. Field crew members use the installable field app on their own phones, so there's no special hardware to buy for each new cleaner.
