What the importer brings over
Most migrations stop at a CSV of clients. That leaves you without the record of what you did, which is the thing you need when a client says the baseboards were skipped three weeks ago. Our importer is built specifically for Jobber and carries the whole operational record.

The four-step switch
We've kept the process short and boring on purpose. You connect, we import and reconcile, you run both for a while, then you cut over when you're ready. Your clients shouldn't notice anything except better reminders.
- 1. Connect: authorize the Jobber import and choose what to bring over.
- 2. Import and reconcile: we pull everything in and compare counts of clients, visits, invoices and checklists against Jobber's own totals, flagging anything that doesn't match.
- 3. Run side by side: keep Jobber live while your office and cleaners work in maid.co for a week or two. Check the schedule, send a few invoices, fill real checklists.
- 4. Cut over: move online booking and request forms, turn on autopay and reminders, and switch Jobber to read-only when you are confident.

What to know before you switch
Be clear-eyed about one trade-off. Jobber has native mobile apps and Tap to Pay on iPhone. maid.co's field app is an installable web app that works offline, and in-person payment is a payment link, QR code or card entry. Walk your cleaners through the app during the side-by-side week so nobody is surprised on day one.

A cutover over two weeks
Say you run 180 recurring clients with four teams on Jobber. On a Monday you connect the import. By the afternoon the reconciliation shows client, visit, invoice and checklist counts side by side with Jobber's numbers, and flags two clients with duplicate properties for you to review.

How do I know the import is complete?
The importer reconciles against Jobber's own counts for clients, properties, jobs, visits, quotes, invoices and checklists, and shows you the numbers side by side. Anything that doesn't match is flagged with the specific records involved, so you can resolve it before cutover rather than discovering it three months later.
Do recurring schedules come over correctly?
Yes. Recurring schedules are rebuilt in maid.co with the same frequency, days, assigned cleaners and billing setup, so future visits land where your clients expect them. During the side-by-side period you can compare next week's schedule in both systems before you commit.
Can I keep using Jobber during the switch?
Yes, and we recommend it. Run both for a week or two while your office and cleaners learn maid.co. Once the schedule, invoices and checklists look right, move your booking forms, turn on autopay and reminders, and set Jobber aside. You decide when to cut over.
What will my cleaners need to change?
They'll use the maid.co field app instead of Jobber's app. It's an installable web app, added to the home screen in a minute, and it works offline and in Spanish. The day sheet, checklists, photos, timers and on-my-way texts work much like they're used to. Plan a short walkthrough with each team during the side-by-side week.
