Online booking
Let clients book the clean. Keep control of the calendar.
Put a booking page on your website that only offers slots your cleaners can actually reach. Clients pick the service, see the price and duration, and choose a time. You wake up to booked cleans instead of voicemails.

Real availability only
Slots come from your live schedule, lead time and buffers, so nobody books a 9 a.m. clean you can't staff.
Service area and drive limits
Set where you clean and how far a cleaner should drive between homes. Out-of-area addresses never get a slot.
Clean or walkthrough
Simple homes book straight into a clean. Big move-outs and commercial spaces book an assessment first.
Bookable services that match how you actually sell
Most cleaning companies sell a handful of recognizable services: a standard clean, a deep clean, a move-in or move-out, an Airbnb turnover. Each one becomes a bookable service with its own price and duration, so a client booking a deep clean for a four-bedroom house sees the right number and your calendar blocks the right amount of time.
You decide what goes public. Keep your recurring standard clean on the booking page and leave post-construction work off it. Anything that needs eyes on the space first can be set up as an assessment instead of a job, so the client books a walkthrough rather than a guess.

Rules that protect your day
Online booking only works if it respects the way your crews move. Lead time stops a client from grabbing a slot two hours from now. Buffers keep room between cleans for packing up, parking and the occasional extra ten minutes on a kitchen. Max drive time stops the booking page from sending a cleaner across town for a single job.
Your service area does the rest. If an address falls outside it, that client doesn't see open times, and you don't have to write the awkward 'sorry, we don't go that far' email after the fact.
- Minimum lead time before a booking
- Buffers between visits
- Service area and max drive time
- Bookable team members, or auto-assign to whoever is free

Every booking lands in the same system you run on
A booking isn't an email you retype. It creates the client, the property and the visit in one place, with the address, any notes the client left and the lead source attached. When the cleaner opens the field app that morning, the job is already there.
Because the booking page, the schedule, invoicing and payments all share one client record, a first-time booking can become a recurring biweekly client without anyone copying details between tools. If you also use the AI Receptionist, phone callers get booked into the same availability your website shows.

A Sunday night booking, handled before Monday
Say a new client finds your site at 10 p.m. on a Sunday. She picks a standard clean for a three-bedroom, sees the price and the three-hour duration, and chooses Thursday morning. Her address sits inside your service area and within your max drive time from Thursday's other cleans, so the slot is real.
Auto-assign places the job with the team that has the gap. She gets a confirmation right away and a reminder with a confirm link before the visit. On Monday your office manager opens the schedule and finds the clean already there, with her gate code note and lead source attached. Nobody returned a voicemail.
FAQ
Questions, answered
Can clients book a specific cleaner?
Yes, if you want them to. You can make team members bookable so a client can request the cleaner they know, or turn that off and let auto-assign place the job with whoever is free. Many companies allow requests for recurring clients and auto-assign everyone else, which keeps loyal clients happy without boxing in your schedule.
How do I stop people booking outside my area?
Set a service area and a max drive time. Addresses outside the area don't get open slots, and the drive-time limit keeps the booking page from offering times that would send a cleaner far from their other jobs that day. You set the limits, and you can change them as you add crews or move into new neighborhoods.
What about jobs I can't price without seeing the home?
Set that service up as an assessment instead of a job. The client books a walkthrough time, and after you see the space you send a quote with line items and optional add-ons. This works well for move-outs, heavily soiled homes, post-construction work and commercial spaces where square footage alone doesn't tell the story.
Will online bookings double-book my cleaners?
Booking slots come from the live schedule, so a slot disappears once it's taken. Lead time and buffers are applied before a time is ever offered. If your office drags a job to a different time, the open slots update from that same schedule, which is why online booking and manual scheduling can run side by side without clashes.
Do I have to use online booking at all?
No. Some companies prefer every new client to start with a request form or a phone call so they can qualify the job first. You can use request forms, the AI Receptionist, or both, and turn on online booking later for recurring services once you trust your pricing and durations.
