They often need a signature from the client and a countersignature from you, sometimes with more than one signer on their side.

Are e-signatures legally valid?
In the United States, electronic signatures are generally recognized under the federal ESIGN Act and state UETA laws for most business contracts, including service agreements and employment paperwork. erp.io Sign keeps an audit trail of who signed and when. Some documents have special rules, so check with your attorney on anything unusual.
Can I use my own contract templates?
Yes. Upload your existing service agreement, commercial contract or onboarding documents and place signature, initial and date fields where you need them. Save them as templates to reuse. Many owners have their templates reviewed by an attorney once, then send them hundreds of times.
Do clients need to sign up for anything?
No. Signers get a secure link by email or text and sign in the browser on their phone or computer. There is nothing to install and no account to create. They get a copy of the fully signed document when everyone has signed.
How is this different from quote approval?
Quote approval in maid.co already includes an e-signature, which is fine for most residential jobs. erp.io Sign adds more when you need it: longer contracts, multiple signers, signing order, countersignature, and documents that are not tied to a quote, like onboarding packets or policy updates for existing clients.
Where are the signed documents stored?
On the record they belong to: the client, the company or the employee. Your team can find a signed agreement from the client's page without digging through email. Permissions control who can see what, so field crew do not see commercial contract terms or other employees' paperwork.
