We try to keep that in check: you turn on only the modules you need, cleaners see a simple field app, and permissions hide costs and pricing from people who don't need them. A solo cleaner who only wants a calendar and reminders may find ZenMaid simpler, and that's fine.
Do cleaners get an app?
Yes. The field app is an installable web app that works offline. Cleaners see the day sheet, access notes and pets, get one-tap directions, send on-my-way texts with an ETA, fill checklists, take photos, collect signatures and run timers. It's available in Spanish, and it syncs when the signal comes back.
Can I handle commercial cleaning on maid.co?
Yes. Book walkthroughs instead of cleans, send quotes with a contract block, collect signatures in Sign, and bill periodically with payment terms set for commercial clients. The AI sales developer can prospect offices, property managers and Airbnb hosts, research each one and follow up until a walkthrough is booked.
Do I still need QuickBooks?
Most teams don't. The Accounting module is a full general ledger with P&L, cash flow, AR and AP, and every invoice, payment, refund, payroll journal and supply purchase posts automatically. If your accountant prefers to keep QuickBooks during a transition, that's workable, but the goal is one set of books.
How do I move from ZenMaid?
